Intermittent whistling sound 207 gti

Hi guys I'm new to the forum. I hope you can help.
I have a 207 gti, it has recently started to make an in frequent whistling sound which I think comes from the right side of the engine. It is a 57 plate and only done 27000 miles. Any ideas?

Under braking? What speed?

The speed varies, but generally when cruising around town. It's never when braking. It couldn't be the timing belt or water pump could it?

Doesn't have a timing belt, chain. the water pumps don't give trouble to be honest.

Shows how much I know about cars. What is the belt I can see under the engine? Any other ideas what it could be? It is so in frequent which is what confuses me the most?
