Fuel Pump

Where is the fuel pump situated on the 207 gt ? because i seem to have a
" WHRRING " noise around 3/4 of the way back o/s just before the real wheel ? have had a look and there is a black box in that area ?.....

Well ive been up the stealers and let them have a listen, and its having a new fuel pump fitted next monday. as for being in the tank, i was under the impression that they was either in close vincinaty or under the back seats ? thats where the mechanic said it was today. Oh and it has only done 326 miles. !
