Corr.... doesn't the 207 just like to be driven gently
![]() Had two in the past fortnight as courtesy cars (1.4 S petrol), and the first one, driving at same speeds as my 407, and I only got 39mpg, and yet tonight when driving it again at 60mph on dual carriageway as supposed to 70mph, I got 51mpg ![]() Never realised just what a difference those extra few revs makes.... so take it steady chaps and you'll save a small fortune p.s. journey of 35 miles, 25 of which are dual carriageway

Yep - max speed 65 and you can achieve or better the stated mpg.
I'm easily getting 60 mpg in my hdi. Wot wiv the price of fuel its makes sense. Rarely I go above 2,500 rev's - mainly stay at 2k - if I ever go into 'limp home' mode it wouldn't make much difference. |
