This might just be me (as my car has been away for a while being repaired after a rear end shunt) but my clutch pedal feels very high.
Clutch does not appear to be slipping and have tried the old stick it in 5th and accelerating while watching the rpm and in 3rd from a stand still with hand brake on-car stalled. I just wanted to know what other 207 clutch bite points were like as i read some where that they are quite high. Also just to satisfy my curiosity i wondered if a DMF should really be replaced when a clutch assy is changed or is there no real need to do it? Having had the DMF changed to SMF on my 307 when it started chirping on shutdown i am glad to say i have heard no similar sounds this time around but is there any thing else that might tell me a change of DMF might be a good idea? (only because i would buy the bits before it went to have it done rather than finding out the DMF is worn once the gar box is off and then having to find one in a hurry!!!!!) What are Sachs DMF's like? better than Valeo? Best place to source the parts???????
