Default Car specifications?

Hello,
is there a way of finding out exactly what engine, clutch and gearbox are fitted to a new car? I have a basic idea, but I would like the exact facts about these?
Thanks in advance.

If it's a diseasel 207 is has a DMF. If it's petrol it doesn't.

Simples.

Is that all 207's? I thought the 90BHPs had single mass.

Of course, I forgot about the 1400s! IIRC the 1.6 90 has DMF, but not FAP (although 2012 models not have fAP as well).

This is what I have, 3 months old?

So does it have DMF?? How can I find out?

What does FAP mean??

Another quick Q?
Do all the gears have syncromesh gears?? i.e. 1st and reverse?
