Default Bluetooth Help

Hi... I wondered if anyone could help me. I've just been given an 11 plate 207 as a hire car and for some reason they don't provide the user manuals.
I am having trouble connected my phone to the bluetooth and wondered if anyone could give me a step by step guide on how to do so.

Also I wondered if it was possible to play ipod playlists on the USB connection rather than just selecting the artists?

Thanks

Search around and you'll find. I had a 60 plate megane as hire car, it's simple.

Depending on what phone you have, you'll need to set your phones bluetooth on and put it's visibility on. Then you search for the phone using the car.

It shouldn't be hard to navigate into bluetooth through the vehicle.

There was a thread about it not long ago and I walked someone through it. Have a search.

Get the car to look for your phone as apposed to the phone looking for the car.
The 3008 has gone this way too.

Default Bluetooth options

On a related topic, we have managed to pair an HTC Wildfire to our 207, however, the call directory is not accessible (it appears as a greyed out option).

We are able to receive calls and the caller name appears, but we cannot make calls using the built-in bluetooth kit.

Does anyone know if the HTC Wildfire is compatible? Please let us know - my girlfiend is rather gutted that her shiny new 207 doesn't work fully with her phone,

Thanks

Just double check that the wildfire doesn't pop any more requests up for access to data etc. which would be your phonebook. In the hire car I had a while back, the phone book was greyed off for a bit, then when I was driving it was no longer greyed off. This therefore could only mean that it needs time to look through all the contacts and memorise them. Pair it and leave it a bit maybe?

Default ght

Thanks for your info, when I was driving home today I thought I would press for the directory just to see what would come up and prepared myself for disappointment. The directory came up but the call list was still greyed out then when I got home both were accessible - think you were right, it may have taken a while to go through the phonebook before I could access it.

Fingers crossed it will continue to work.

Thanks

hi dolly unsure if you manage to sort your bluetooth but ive just bought a 56plate 207 hdi and its fairly simple to work the handsfree ,
which igition on
turn ur bluetooth on and search for your car(shoud say 207)
ps make sure your engines not runing ,otherwise it wont accept your phone)
once youve searched and found your car ,ask to pair my code was 1234 and it paired sometimes it can take a few goes , hopefully that works for you

Thanks Nige

The problem is that I cannot stream audio via bluetooth (I have a 58 plate 207 with the standard radio setup but it does have bluetooth.

I can make and receive calls through it but not stream music.

I had a courtesy car and then I could stream music - this car had exactly the same radio unit from looking at it.
