They've mis sold a vehicle to you. You can threaten to bring in trading standards, if they don't budge, you actually do bring in trading standards and youll have your money back.

If you don't know how it works, trading standards will ask you to send a letter recorded delivery to the dealership stating they've missold a vehicle to you, they have 14 days to rectify the problem or it will go to higher levels.

There are template letters on the trading standards site. Give trading standards a ring. Don't forget if they have an 0870, 0845, 0800 etc number you can get the real number by searching Google "say no to 0870"

Bettyswollocks has a thread on this, but I'm using my HTC Desire right now so can't find it

I've already advised you how to go about getting it sorted, or else rejected.

These rants are just a waste of your time, and detract from getting what you want - a properly working car that doesn't backfire.

I've been there and done it recently with my 3008, but if you'd rather ignore me and are happy to carry on with a faulty 207, then go nuts.

Follow the advice here, and get it sorted...

Backfiring

Don't waste time ranting that would be better spent sorting. If you're still stuck with a backfiring car in 3 months time, then it's your own fault.
