Default 207 clock

Hi all, I am new to this forum and have a problem I really hope you can help me with.

I have a 2007 207 1.6 diesel. About a year or so ago I had the standard stereo removed and had one fitted I bought myself. When this was done, I lost access to changing the time on the cars clock.

I have been able to live with this as it's only been the wrong time for 6 months of the year - no big deal, however, the other day my battery went flat. I have since charged it and connected it back to the car, but the durn clock keeps flashing at me.

I don't mind the time being wrong so much (although it would be nice to have the correct time) but the flashing is very annoying and tends to distract me whilst driving!

Can anybody tell me a way I can set it without having the original stereo controls?

Regards

Andy

You can't. You need the original radio.

Ok David, thanks for that. I did assume you couldn't but wanted to be sure.

Bit of bad designing by Peugeot IMHO, not really fair they put such key features on a stereo that people would may like to replace

It’s a shame that you can’t simply change your stereo in modern cars without affecting another function, however the stereo in 207’s I thought were quite adequate? But hey my days of blasting the music with my windows down through town have long gone

The main reason I changed the stereo in it was because I wanted one with USB functionality

A USB box is available for your original radio in the accessories list from Peugeot.
