Yeah tried just selecting cc as "present" and then configuring and still getting the same message.

I was wondering if perhaps the software or the script to work the cc wasn't installed on my ecu and that was why it failed to configure. Could that be a possibility?

theres been a few like that, but when the error comes up, its actually configured it!

you might need to use Diagbox if its 2012 car though.

Hi, i have just got a 207 SW 2008 1.6HDI, unfortunately it has no Cruise Control, but as i see that is not difficult to fit. Is there anyone near Milton Keynes or Leeds who can activate the necessary thing with a Planet software? So i can buy the Stalk later and fit it myself? Any help is much appreciated

Had cruise control fitted to my 207cc today. 1.6 120bhp auto model, base spec 'sport' model on a 57 plate.

As it's an auto is has the kickdown switch on the bottom of the accelerator pedal so I took a chance and bought a limiter and cruise control stalk from ebay for the grand sum of 29.99. Whipped the plastic off under the steering wheel and plugged it in. I was going to buy an eBay special PP2000 and cable but found a local garage to my work in Slough that specialises in Peugeots. Before they did anything to the car with the stalk plugged in, the car didn't 'know' the stalk was there, pressing the buttons did nothing. I chatted to the garage who said they've never enabled cruise control before however were willing to give it a go for the cost of 30 mins of diagnostic (35). They plugged it in, enabled cruise in the BSI and said give that a go. The car responded to the stalk buttons now (display on the dash) but didn't set, the limiter speed you could select but it just flashed when you set it and the cruise display just the two dashes flashed when trying to set it. Took it back today and they turned on both cruise control and limiter in the ECU using Diagbox and it's working good as gold now. Very happy - cruise control on a 207 cheaper than a VAG car and no removing the steering wheel! I just used my dremel to cut a slot out for the stalk to reassemble the plastic.

As mine is the base spec 1.6 16v 120bhp, it seems cruise control can be fitted to any 207... the limiter as discussed obviously relies on the kickdown pedal.

Now I want the auto lights/wipers and auto dimming rear view mirror - when I changed from the factory bluetooth mic to my own stereo one, I noticed two plugs taped up above the interior light which match sensors and mirrors listed on eBay. I imagine for the mirror it's a plug in and it just works jobbie and the auto lights/wipers you need to change the light stalk (don't think the wipers have an auto setting?) and enable it in the BSI.
