hi all new member ive just bought a 56 plate 1.6hdi 207,
which ive only had 2days, and having issiuses aready (wishing id kept my pd130 golf first noticed the engine feels very sluggish for a 110 version and noticed ive a turbo whine,which sounds the noise when u switch a hoover on , i did a boost leak test ,which was fine, removed turbo to find no worn bearings /worn blades or shaft play?as usely turbos have a nice sound from them ,checked the turbo which is the correct gt15vv unit,so im a bit unsure what it is. dose anyone know what boost i should be seeing from a stock mapped 110 ,so i can check with a boost gauge fault orange triangle stateing tyre pressures low but there not , replaced a new sensor fault is still there?(question do these have to be recoded to the car via the new sensor number? second fault my battery was lose and touched the ecu , which i found it had corroupted something in the ecu and the vechical wouldnt start ,plus wasnt cranking like the starter was buggared (strange but true) after i had the ecu tested (faulty 45.00 fee ,and was unfixable) i searched for another (near inpossible to find one with correct numbers) few weeks ive found one with the identical bocsh main number ,but it was off a 307 not 207 ,the guy said it would work fine if the immo was removed, ive removed the immo and the car started everything worked and drove ok ,but ive noticed the asr/esp fault is on i know i had no issiuses with this until the ecu was fitted , after rechecking the (small ecu numbers i found them differnert, so ive read my old oringal ecu ,and sent all the information to the new one , but the esp light is still on ,ive pluged scanner in which cames up with these codes (permant fault/cooling pressure signal,short curcit to earth)what is this and were is it located. (abs/esp ecu peranent fault /regulation of engine torque)again is this the esp unit or possible sensor or codeing ,these codes were from peugoet plannet a week later antipoloution light came on (common fault of what ive read) so i decoded the dpf from the ecu and removed the insides of the dpf and re tig welded it back up (car has no engine faults (other then esp)and pulls a little better) next the rocker cover breather has a spring and a rubber in the top but ,im unsure if theres something missing as theres only a spring and rubber in it, as im getting oil into the intake pipe, ?any advise or help on this and getting close to giving up can anyone help . |
