Hello everyone, this is my first post.
I have a 2008 207 1.4s with the flip key with two buttons on it. A while back the remote fob stopped remotely unlocking the car, I could unlock the car doors with the key, I could start the engine with the key - I just couldn't remote unlock. I presumed this was the battery in the fob - I replaced this and still the remote feature wouldn't work. I have tried pressing buttons whilst the key is in the ignition to see if that would do it. When I did this, I had the key in the ignition, I pressed the remote lock button, and the doors locked. Pressed the unlock, and they unlocked. They just wouldn't do it any other time. Any one have any ideas on what I can do? Cheers Ally |

Sounds like maybe the button itself may have become faulty and is not making contact inside the plipper?

Sounds like programming. turn off ign. turn on ign, press key fob button ten seconds, turn off remove key and should work. needs re programming when battery removed. It stops working when battery voltage gets too low.
