Default Washer bottle

My wifes 7 year 206 gets little use. Yesterday it was drizzling and tried the windscreen washer but it appeared empty. Opened the bonnet this morning and everytime I filled it, it just kept coming out under the car The water comes out directly beneath the bottle.
Can confirm the motor whirrs etc.
A month ago the main dealer replaced the cambelt and water pump, would they have been working in that area and could they have knocked a connection. Problem I have is it is 80 mile round trip to dealer, so not easy to get in.
Is this a common problem? Not easy to see under without jacking up and don't wish to be at mercy of the Dealer.
Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated.

you would have thought the dealer were more careful in their work...but i hear stories that surprise me.

unfortunately from what i have heard, its a jack up, wheel off, arch liner and wing off jobby.

chances are its as you say, a disconnected pipe. worse case the bottle is busted.

Its a wing off job to replace the water bottle, surely not?
That sounds horrific.

Not wing but the wheel and plastic wheel arch liner.

Can anybody ask the other bit of the question. By the dealer changing cambelt/water pump, would they have been working in vicinity of piping from water bottle?

Wouldn't have thought so but stranger things have happened!

The motor is probably loose where it fits into the bottle , could be the seal or just not fitting. They may have disturbed it if the took the arch liner out.

You will have sorted the job before you even made a one way trip there to be honest.

Jack up and undo arch liner lower clips where it meets the bumper. Pull out of the way and you should have enough room to access the pump.

Ten minute job max
