Recently bought X Reg 206 1.4 - Few problems, help needed?

Hi all,

Im new to this forum, my partner has just bought a Peugeot 206 1.4 X Reg (which the previous owner has said has recently had an oil change), however, both myself and my partner have no idea about cars.

I am just wondering if anyone could help with a few problems we are currently having:

1. There is an oil leak towards the left side of the engine, (not a huge one, but enough for concern. We have had the 'rocker gasket' replaced with a new one but the leak is still persistant, any ideas of what it could be... it has been suggested by friends it could either be the head gasket or the sump gasket (whatever they are). If you could give me any pointers on price of repair etc that would be great.

2. On some sharp bends when turning either left or right, we can hear a slight squeaking coming from the wheels is this normal?

3. The passenger seat wont recline but will go forward is this a common problem?

4. The speaker system in the car has blown completely and we are looking for a replacement, what size speakers should I be looking for?

Any help would be appreciated.
