Radio problem

206,year 2000,2.0 HDI, i wonder if antbody can help, everything has been fine but today i got into the car and noticed the radio would not work,no info showing on mfd.firstly i though no power but in the dark i could see the ring around the volume control was lit up, i have checked the fuse in the main fuse board and removed the untit from the car and checked the fuse in the back of it,both are fine i had a wiggle with all the wiring but nothing. when i turn the ign. on i can hear the multi disc in the boot cycling thru the discs but then that stops and back to nothing.am wondering if there maybe a fuse inside the unit or just the one on the back.maybe the unit has just packed up,but i dont want to replace the head unit to find it still does not work.any ideas would be great,Thankyou Matt.
