Hi I'm looking to change my original tape player head unit in my 1998 S reg 206 to a newer single cd head unit, would this just be a simple plug and play job? or would it be more complicated? and if so how would i go about doing it?

I used to have a T reg 306, swapped the tape for a kenwood cd player.
Straight forward plug and play. I would have thought yours would be the same.

If you are putting in a Peugeot head unit you will need the code for it. The physical transfer is very easy as long as they have the same connection but once powered down the head unit will need the code inputting or will not work.
You will need a pair of stereo pins to get the old one out without damaging anything. |
