hi my names steve i own a 206 hdi 1999 v reg my problem started a month ago when i switched car off and it kept running for about 5 seconds next time i got in engine management light came on and it wouldnt rev past 2000 after numerous checks it was pointing to the high press regulator on pump so i bought a new one from peugeot £233 (owww) fitted it.. started up management light went out straight away car ran better and seemed to have more power than before i had problems i was well happy till tday .switched it off.. it kept running management light back on back in limp mode .. any advice most appreciated (car had done about 600 miles since new regulator was fitted) help please steve

now sorted .. thought id list fault as it may be helpful to others ..... turned out to be fuel pump in tank breaking up and fine particals of metal were clogging press regulator on pump on engine thus putting car into limp mode
