Default peugeot 206 1.4hdi poor performance

Hello Everybody hope someone can give me an idea what might be wrong with my 206. The previous owner told me he heard a "hissing noise" so he took it to local peugeot dealer who said it was injector seals so had them done and car never been same since! He went back 2 days later told them performance was rubbish. So (they said) they removed injectors again, sent them to a diesel spec. who said they were all faulty! yet it went in running ok. Anyway he couldn't afford 4 inj. so they refitted old ones and sent him on his way. He drove it like it like this for around 4k miles and when tax and test run out sold it. And thats were i come in.
I thought/hoped it would be a simple fix vacuum pipe off etc. but it would appear not. I took it to a bosch diagnostic tech. who said fuel press. was spot on, no.1 inj was a little high but not enough to cause such dire performance. He suggested i check cambelt timing which i did and was spot on. I checked the basics maf (swopped 1 from friends car) egr, turbo, inc wastegate, cat plus rest of exhaust, fuel lines, back leakage and yesterday i removed the injectors took them to be tested and he said they were ok! so i am somewhat stumped. I am sure it is a problem with fueling (or lack of) if anyone as any ideas i would be very grateful car has only done 51k and looks to be genuine. thanks in advance
Wayne.

Take the air filter housing out and check the fuel lines under it , they come out , block one end and pressure test , they usually have air leaks in them , i have a post here somewhere

here we go , by the way at this point it was drinking fuel

Hard to start 307 FIXED!!!!!!!

I looked at mine and couldn`t see anything with the naked eye , as soon as we put air pressure in it dropped, hope you find your problem.

Mine started but maybe took one or two starter turns more as it got worse.

Well car started ok, took it out for a spin and seems a little better (but wife says sometimes it does seem better now and again) but it is still well short of what it should be like. I am now wondering if the ecu is just not seeing the maf signal and car is in "limp home mode".What does anybody think to that theory? If that were the case Would peugeot planet spot it?

well in my case it didn't - in fact it brought up a load of errors that were basically the ECU failing. if your error seems illogical it probably is! forget the PP diag as that is just BS
