Default Lumpy Juddery 206

Hi all,

I have a 2003 206 LX 1.1l. It's been driving me mad for a while now. When your cruising along at about 35mph in fourth, if you nail the throttle it judders and shakes quite badly and then accelerates. Its worse in the cold and wet, but doesn't always do it. It also does it in other gears, but the 35mph in fourth trick is the only way to make it do it all the time. It also idles quite lumpily, and gets worse the longer its left to idle...

I took it to my local Peugeot specialist garage and they swapped the plugs from NGK's to Bosch plugs, which did the trick for about 2 weeks, but the problem has now returned. The only other thing that we noticed when swapping the plugs was the cylinder 3 was running very lean (plug that was taken out was pretty clean in comparison to the other 3). They suggested that this was just due to the NGK plugs and that in their experience pugs run better on bosch spark plugs.

Please Help!!!!
