Hi guys, I'm new at this forum, and I registered to see what you guys think about my problem.
Anyway, I own 1.4i 75hp 206, produced in 2006. Problem is, when I start the car, I hit the gas pedal and instead of making revs go higher, engine first makes them lower! So it goes like this: I start the engine, wait for a few seconds, then just for a brief moment I hit the gas and release it, and revs first go down (for, say, 150rpm) and THEN go up without problem. In some cases, if I hit the gas for too long, engine goes off! (when engine's cold) Besides that, engine's responding too late in casual driving.. It's like it is hesitating. My regular garage-man told me that perhaps it could be lambda sensor... Other than that, he has no clue. (no problems found on diagnostics whatsoever). And I have found out that cleaning of stepper motor, throttle body and MAP sensor may help !!?? So, what do you guys think of it ? Thanks
