Hi all,
Before I spend any money on this I thought I'd verify that I'm doing the right thing. I've got a 2003 206 and on the odd occasion it's a bit tricky to indicate left. I push down on the stalk and sometimes the relay doesn't 'click'. However, by pushing down again (slightly harder) it works. It doesn't happen all that often, but as my MOT is due next year I'd hate to fail on this. A while ago I also noticed that I couldn't get the lights to go on full beam without re-doing it in exactly the same way. The indicator stalk is a little stiff anyway, so I suspect a replacement might be prudent anyway. SO I'm assuming that (after some research on the web) that I need to get hold of a replacement com2000 unit for a 2003 Peugeot. I have found a breaker's yard that have offered one for about £60 with a six month guarantee. Am I'm also correct that fitting it would be a suitably easy job ? I know an auto electrician who is very good with car stereos and has said that he can do it. I mentioned the air-bag and he says that he can simply dis-connect the battery for a little while. What I am asking for is some advice that I am doing the right thing and that fitting the unit won't be that difficult. Thanks for any advice! |
