Flashing temperature on display

Hi there, I am a new to this, just bought Peugeot 206 HDI 2006 plate. One thing that is driving me nuts is the constant flashing of the temperature on the display. Is this normal? I try to get it to display the time constant but the time comes up on screen for about 5 seconds then the daft temperature comes back. Is there any way to resolve this as I would really like to havea the time displayed in the car. Thanks, J.

If its anything like the 307's display it will only flash when its getting nippy out, from 2c and below i think?

Mine flashes from 3 or below Celsius. And yes it keeps flashing not just flash a few times like most normal cars!
