Few Question about 1.1

Just got a 1.1 206

Few things on it if anyone can help me

1. Auto adjusting clutch, do they do a manual adjust cable because bite is very high and I like a nice low biting point on my cars,

2. Brakes work but really aren't amazing, pedal travel is very far down and brakes won't lock at all. Bled fresh fluid in but still seems crap. Any known thing to cause this or are all of them like this? Not sure if a seal in master cylinder would be cause.

3. What engines are compatible in these cars with any mount or loom modifications? (If I get loom with the donor engine) will saxo engines fit in with their loom etc.

Nice car but AMAZINGLY SLOW!!! 2nd gear has no pull at all, i know saxo 1.1 engines are pretty much identical but the saxo is so much faster.
