so when you lock from the remote the lock locks then unlocks immediatly
when you lock from the passenger side manually the locks go down and come straight back up again. when you lock manually from the drivers side, only this door locks. when you say manually I assume you mean from the outside with the key in the door? What about when you're on the inside and pressing the button? What if you lock the drivers door manually (so this door is closed) then try the remote? (to lock the passenger side and boot hatch) -and back doors if it's a 5 door. |

Have you checked the wiring to the door lock, namely in the rubber boot between chassis and door.

What happens when you disconnect the boot?
Can you lock all the doors then. Also are you able to lock the doors when sitting inside the car using the lock button inside the car (I mean the ones on the door). If you have a lock button on the dashboard next to the hazard lights what happens if you press this? Do you have a peugeot planet code reader or access to one? You can do an actuator check on the locks and find out exactly which lock is broken and possibly exactly why. |

got your message.
for the benefit of anyone else that might come along later trying to work through a simillar problem, Quote:
Ok, so no lock button in the car dash means that there are no deadlocks on the doors. What happens when you leave a door open and press the lock button? the locks should bounce then, certainly on my car there is also an audiable beep to let you know that the car definitly has not locked properly. The fact that the interior lights come on (and I assume go off) when the doors are open and closed would suggest that the switch at the door pillar is working, I'm not sure if there is a seperate sensor instide the lock mechanism that would tell the car that the lock has engaged properly. And what about when you try the manual locks on the door from the inside? Are you able to lock the passenger door that way? |
