this started off as a minor thing but over the last month or so the hissing has become more prominent..... it seems to be coming from the front offside brake,only happens generally after light gradual braking,a harsh dab sometimes stops it,other times it'll happen for 10 seconds ago then stop itself....
someone suggested it has to be the master cylinder (bloody expensive in other words) any other suggestions or how to check what exactly it is (bearing in mind detailed instructions needed as im mechanically retarded )Thanks for any help |

jack the front o/s up and turn the wheel see if the noise is comeing from the brake if so then remove the wheel and check the disc pads and that theres nothing rubbing against the disc.good luck.
