Default 206d engine not starting

have a pug 206d
was driving fine all day, came home 10min later tryed to get into the drivers side door had a bit of trouble so went and opened the passenger side door got it opened then went and got in the drivers side door.
waited till glow plug light went out, and tryed starting it. it just cawed and turned over, got out the car, locked the doors then got back in this time the drivers door, tried again to start. nothing noticed it had the engine mode light still on. it was a frosty night, up here in scotland. and was wondering if it would have an affect on the door systeem, the car has not got a fob key. just a normal type key will it reset its self, or will it need more
diagnostics done, before it will be able to get going again. this is the first time this happend .but i suppose this is friday the 13th.

1 thing at a time the easy stuff for me.
Not being able to open the door on a frosty morning, thats something I live with too, everytime I walk out the door in Scotland when there's been a heavy frost. The remaining water in the kettle from my 5:30am coffee sorts that out, just try not to dribble it on any glass.

I would as a general rule when it comes to a pug find a Peugeot Planet owner nearest yourself and ask if they would do a full Diagnostics on the car for you. That will if not give you the definitive answer, point most long term users around here in the direction of the problem.

The map is here Peugot Planet - Google Maps

Apart from that keep an eye on this thread as you will get help.
