206 Heater / Air Con Controler Unit / Matrix

Hi All

Just after a bit of advice, my girlfriends 206 CC heater unit always seems to be very hot to the touch down in the footwell and we are concerned.

Does anyone know if this is a common problem?

I am thinking of replacing the whole unit as there are many on ebay for around £50. If I do, is this an easy change out?
