206 HDI Audible warning and guage shuddering when turning the key

For the last couple of weeks my 206 has been making a loud audible beep (kinda like the door open warning noise) and the speedo and rev counter needle vibrates whilst making a loud clicking noise.

At first i didn't see it as much of a problem as the motor turned over and all lights went out. But recently it hass gotten a little cooler in the mornings and the last 2 days it starts but struggles.

Any clues as to what may be causing this? Any help or advice appreciated.!
