This fix rarely works as the axle tube is worn. Cheapest option is to change the axle for a secondhand one.

If you buy secondhand axle it could damage after 10kkm. Rear axles always break down after 70-100 kkm and when you buy a sceondone you dont know how many km left. In P206 after 50-80 kkm (sometimes even less)
Best way is to regenerate axle. There is in Poland specialist garage for rear axles in Peugeot, Citroen and Renault.Tylna belka or regeneracja tylnej belki You could go for holiday to Poland and repair there your axle - this takes 1,5h and cost 200/250 euro. |
