206 cutting out in reverse

my 206 1.4i 2001 has recently started to cut out when pulling off .
it selects gear fine and idles but unless you rev it when you lift the clutch it stalls does this forward but more in reverse. once the engine is warm it doesnt do it, the idle does fluctuate but only slightly alway starts first turn of key any advice would be great thanks
