hi i've got a 05 reg 206cc 2.0 16v, i have timed the cams up using pins then removed the crank as there was a leak from the carrier, refitted the crank torqued up main bearings and big end bearings refitted the cambelt and tried to turn the engine over and it keeps locking up. cylinder 2 inlet valves are trying to open when the piston is at tdc the crank has no timing marks on it at all. I would like to know what position the pistons should be in at the timed position. i think it should be all four pistons level with cylinder 2 on the downwards stroke as cylinder 1 has the exhaust valves open. can anyone confirm this is correct or advise if different.
