Default 1.6 hdi 110bhp 206 unblock diesel filter after new turbo fit

Hello,
my first post because I have just bought a 206 1.6 hdi 110bhp (dv6 I think is the code). I picked it up and on the way home there was smoke from the engine bay and loads from the exhaust. The engine would not go over 2500 rpm and the computer was showing "unblock fuel filter".
I got it home and noticed the turbo had gone. The impellor was loose and resting on the inside of the casing.
I bought a new turbo and fit it. In fitting I noticed that the turbo oil inlet pipe banjo seemed to be blocked and the turbo oil return pipe was totally blocked. I fully cleaned these before putting in the new turbo. I also removed the sump and cleaned the oil pick up.
The engine now starts fine. The turbo comes in at around 2300rpm and it revs fine. However I have not driven it because the unblock fuel filter warning came on again a couple of times whilst it was idling for about 10 minutes. The engine revs fine when stood still and not in gear so I do not know if it is still limited to 2500rpm under load as I do not want to drive it with this fault.
I have searched the net and it would seem that the dpf (fap) may be the cause. Can anyone explain what I should do next? Could the blockage be shown as a result of the blown turbo? Is there a simple way to resolve this of will it need the dpf sorting in some way? Is there a way to regen the system?
I really do not want to spend any more money on the car.
The car has done 70000 and has been serviced at least every 10k if it makes a difference.
Many thanks in advance

Dpf blocked , oil return pipe from turbo probably blocked aswell , if you don`t sort this you`ll need another turbo ,

either take dpf of and power-hose out , dry , replace and reset counters ,

or buy a new dpf ,

or rip it out and dpf off your ECU.

you need the right oil in that car and the oil return cleaned out.

thanks it looks like it will all be coming off again to jet wash it out. Are the dpf cleaning procucts any good? could one help? I have been told giving the car a long run may force a regen and sort the problem out, has this every worked for anyone?

Just a couple of questions about your response, what do you mean reset the counters?

How much work and expense is removing the dpf altogether? I assume I will need a piece of exhaust fabricating and some technical wiz to sort the ecu but how much is it likely to cost?

many thanks in advance
