strange leak

So after always wanting a 205 Gti 1,9 (after havning owned Fiat Uno Turbo, Vw Gti 16v, Celicas ect) I have finally bought one. And yes believe the hype what a great handling car...


But problem is very strange coolant leak...

could be the matrix, but the leak is below the car, dripping slowely from the floor panel, behind the left front wheel. It is constant. any ideas?

If it was the metrix wouldnt the leak be inside the car in the footwel?

Will be using the car for a 24h race.. so cant be having any leaks

Leaks all the time or only when running?

Has the car got air conditioning?

no air con, and it leaks/drips all the time,,,,

Is the floor wet inside the car?

and yes there is mouisture in the floorwel, but I have removed the floor mats and the isolation below them, and I see no coolant.

also no coolant where the radio should be...

Perhaps connection behind the metrix? rusty connecton ect??

another issue, does the 1,9 gti have the same radiator as the rest of the 205 petrol engine range?
