205 gearbox replacement question

Hi all, I have a pug 205 1991 957cc. I have owned the car since I passed my test and I cannot part with it. However, the MA4 gearbox is on its way out, synchro has gone and now its slipping out of fourth. I was thinking of replacing the box with an MA5 box which, I have been told it fairly straight forward. I would like a little higher ratio on the 5th as I do some motorway driving. My question is this, can anybody tell me the ratios of currently fitted 2CA73 box as I cannot find the info anywhere. I can then at least find a suitable box.

Also, will driveshaft diameters be different at the box end for different boxes in the MA range?

Ok, I managed to find a 1.1 106 in a local scrappy, it belonged to a work collegue of mine. Checked with the yard and they want £50 for it. Will it likely fit or will i be wasting my money?

I read in another post somthing about the 106 linkages not being interchangable but surely the current ones on mine will attach. Anybody with any info would be greatly received before i start taking things apart.
