Hi everyone,
i'm looking forward to buy a 08 plate 107, but apon checking for the vin number on the vehicle, both me and the seller could only managed to find the vin number on stickers under the bonnet and by the side of rear pessenger door. This is only the second 107 i looked at and i forgot to check for it the first time round. Is is normal for a 107/C1/Aygo, or should it be hot stamped onto the metal penal on the vehicle?? Any input would be greatly appreciated heard too many nightmare stories about scams and clones.........

IIRC correctly it's stamped on the metalwork under one of the front seats, and there's a flap in the carpet to view it.
There's also a visible VIN in the windscreen, and the VIN on an anti-tamper sticker int he door shut, depending on the year.
