From what I can gather, the 107s electrics are CANBUS standard, but not multiplexed into any other systems than the ABS. Fortunately, this means the sparks are fairly robust on these. Now, my question is thus - an acquaintance wants to fit an aftermarket rev counter as the official accessory ones are too expensive. Would it be possible for him to take the drive feed from the connector intended for the OE accessory, or is it likely to carry a different data standard to the pulse driven ones you tend to find in Halfords?
