I bought a 106 (Look +) last April and its always hunted but in the recent months its started to get worse and now wen i switch her on she just revs really high im guessin around 4000 to 5000 revs (no rev counter) and using a lot of petrol
Any Ideas??

Check and clean the idle air control valve, AKA stepper motor.

Default 106

Could be the stepper motor controlling idle. The 106 came with two injection systems on basic models, Bosch and Magnetti Marelli. The Bosch one is the one that gave the idling problems. It was a case of replacing the motor.
Also get someone to adjust the tappets, I've had a few cars where cutting out was caused by tappets out of adjustment.

Default Bosch

No waste of money changing. Get ecu read and if its the stepper motor, change it.
