where is gear box fluid filler

Hiya
Please help before my husband scraps my car

I have a peugeot 1007 1.4 petrol. Recently it needed a new suspension spring, but while is was getting fixed the driveshaft came out the gear box and all the gear box fluid when all over the road. Now the spring is fixed, i am left with the problem of filing the gear box fuild. we have looked all over the car, and my husband has been told that it was under the battery compartment. he has striped the battery down but could not see a filler. Does anyone know where the filler is?

PLEASE PLEASE HELP BEFORE IT GOES TO THE BIG CAR PARK IN THE SKY.

you will have to check what g/box is fitted this is for a BE4 g/box
8 is the level plug and 7 is the drainhope this helps
