Peugeot 1007 Dolce

On occasions when i start up the car a loud grinding/fan like noise occurs.
I've taken it to the garage who replaced the water pump but still getting this noise and have to turn off the ignition and re start and get the normal engine sound.

Open bonnet before starting and listen where exactly it comes from as it could be the starter sticking.
