Passenger door not sliding.

Hi all-

I bought one of these 3 weeks ago and now experience a problem with the passenger door

When pressing the button to open, the door actually unlocks and opens slightly but then stops and sliding door fault appears on the display.

When I then slide it further open manually, it does begin to slide automatic. this makes me believe the actual motor is functioning, but the problem might be the actuator?

Just noticed that when I use the outer or inner door handle, it does work correctly......strange.

Am I correct in assuming this, or can something else be the culprit?

have to read the faults in the door system, but most common thing is door acuator behind the inner door handle to change this will need to remove the door panel... i work for peugeot inbox me for more info if want
