I have a 1007 in at the moment with a interesting fault, When you open the drivers door the windscreen wipers come on and and will not switch off.
This was caused by a brilliant piece of design work, At each end of the plastic panel covering the wiper motor assy there is a foam rubber block that the bonnet closes on. These blocks absorb water like a sponge, so when you close the bonnet the water is squeezed out, the passenger side one deposits its water into the under bonnet fuse box, In this example the fuse box is as rotten as a pear and has caused no end of gremlins to appear. Magic! |
