Mitsubishi Motors, Peugeot Ally on Plug-In Hybrids, Nikkei Says
July 9 (Bloomberg) -- Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and PSA Peugeot Citroen will expand their partnership to develop plug-in hybrid vehicles, Nikkei English News said, without citing anyone.
The automakers will cooperate in developing and assembling components for Mitsubishi Motors’ plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicle and Peugeot Citroen’s diesel-engine hybrid, the report said.
Mitsubishi Motors will also supply large-capacity lithium- ion batteries to Peugeot Citroen, the report said.
